Technical Info for Proposals
Venues will be equipped to support diverse practices, including:
- Projection mapping, immersive light and sound environments
- Interactive, sensor-based, and data-responsive installations
- XR, VR/AR, and metaverse experiences
- AI-driven and generative systems
- Various outputs for digital video works including screenings to screens
Hybrid and online participation formats will be organized.
Support for Accepted Proposals
ISEA2026 provides technical and curatorial support for selected projects. Proposals will be considered for shipping, equipment needs, as well as potential commissions. Projects that are intrinsically aligned and manageable within the time frame and resources may be selected for commissions. The programming committee will also consider the best approach to ensure minimal impact to the symposium’s carbon footprint. Artists are encouraged to consider how their work can engage local contexts while contributing to global dialogues on creativity, technology and the future of digital culture.
